Teresa Costa has a PhD in Experimental Biology and Biomedicine, branch of Neurosciences and Disease, by the University of Coimbra. She has been the director of the Omibee Research Center since 2010 and is a professor at the Faculty of Medicine, as well as the leader of the Cognitive Neuroscience research group. Teresa Costa has published more than 160 scientific articles in specialized journals and is part of the editorial team of more than 6 scientific journals. She is / was a principal investigator for research projects funded by the FCT and the Alzheimer's Association.
