Adriana Azevedo has been developing research in the field of gene and cellular therapies and is presently a master student at the Omibee Research Center. Adriana did her graduation in Biomedical Sciences at University of Porto. In 2017, she started her Master in Biomedical Research at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Porto. Currently she is doing her Master thesis in "Understanding how animals detect magnetic elds at the cellular and molecular level, employing the pigeon as model system", supervised by Dr. João Monteiro (PhD).
